The frames.

  1. 01 The arrival in Bishkek — different uniform, different bag
  2. 02 The drive up — paved road to gravel road to no road
  3. 03 Base camp — a wood stove, a yurt, and kumis at dinner
  4. 04 First ascent — the altitude hits on day one, the horses hold
  5. 05 Glassing from a ridge — distant ibex, several bands
  6. 06 The first stalk — a long sidehill in snow
  7. 07 Second ibex — shorter stalk, better wind, different ridge
  8. 08 Descent — the long ride out, thirty-eight inches in the saddle bag

The layout below each frame follows the same editorial treatment as the Namibia 2014 journal — large image, short honest paragraph, no inflation. Come back when the images are up, or browse the existing archive from the Namibia seasons.
